On 5.2.2016, the Czech Bar Association was authorised by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Czech Republic to handle out of court settlement of consumer disputes between a lawyer and a consumer arising from Contracts for the Provision of Legal Services (on the basis of Act no. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended).
